Hi, I'm Konstantin Vavilov.

As a concept artist, I have grown from a passionate newcomer to an art director and an outsourcing studio founder over the past 20 years.

I have worked on various projects and companies, including industry giants such as Blizzard Entertainment and Riot Games.

My Education:

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation and Video Graphics

Associate's Degree in Exterior Design

You can find me on Instagram, Artstation, and LinkedIn.

Projects and companies where I have worked

In 2012, I created the first 2-year Concept Art education program alongside a fantastic team at Scream School.
Over the years, I have mentored many talented artists who now work at studios worldwide, including Epic Games, Blizzard Entertainment, Owlcat Games, and others.

"I skipped so many school classes playing Diablo I (yes, I'm this old) that I nearly got expelled. But this was the foundation for my passion to explore and then to create worlds. Fuel that allowed me to overcome many hardships and obstacles on my way to becoming an artist."

"I believe that passion, consistency, and dedication work wonders and will lead you to amazing projects."

Buried City – personal project

What do I find interesting to work on? What do I want to grow for? What do I want to share?
Through this project, I've explored myself as an artist, found a way to hear my very own creative voice, learned to think systematically, and discovered how to dream big. This is a project that makes me get up at 4 AM.

Over the last 10 years, Buried City has been with me through my own outsourcing studio, Blizzard, and Riot Games. It grew together with me and allowed me to grow.

Now, after gaining diverse experience, I'm returning to what has always been important: passing on knowledge. My work experience and Buried City led me to create my own educational programs.
